Demonstrating utmost dedication to her craft, Heidi Gubala of Raynham Massachusetts (MA)  is a trusted and skilled practitioner of Cosmetology as well as a talented Cosmetology Instructor. She has been employed with the Fall River Public Schools System since September 2009. She finds it consistently fascinating to share with her students her deep knowledge of the beauty industry as a Vocational Unisex Hairstyling Teacher at BMC Durfee High School, where she has been preparing seniors in all phases of cosmetology in direct preparation for the State Board Exam. At BMC Durfee High School, Heidi is also tasked to introduce freshmen to the Discovery Program.

Before starting on her teaching career with the BMC Durfee High School, Heidi Gubala was an Instructor and Admissions and Performance Reviewer at the Rob Roy Beauty Academy, where she was assigned to implement the vertically integrated instructional program specifically engineered to attract, admit, motivate, mentor and monitor new students on the skills necessary for learning and succeeding in the beauty business, while exhibiting a sincere commitment to quality and building a strong reputation for excellence and innovation.

Heidi Gubala first served as a Substitute Vocational Cosmetology Teacher at BMC Durfee High School for ten years from September 1999, a job that entailed focus on practical along with theory cosmetology and manicuring methodologies. Her first job at BMC Durfee High School also placed her in charge of assisting with all high school grades.

Heidi Gubala takes pride in the accomplishments of her students who passed the State Board Cosmetology Exam when they took it. She is a devoted mother to two girls. Heidi is the number one fan of her daughter Brooke, who is committed to Merrimack College Class of 2018 and is a proud member of the Merrimack College Warriors.

Armed with almost three decades of industry experience on her belt, Ms. Heidi Gubala of Raynham, Massachusetts (MA) has shown that a sincere dedication to hard work and genuine winning attitude can spell success in any chosen career. Ms. Gubala was Fully Approved in Vocational Education by The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Education in 1999. She earned an Instructor’s License in Cosmetology in 1990, granted by the Massachusetts State Board of Cosmetology in Boston, MA.

Ms. Heidi Gubala passed the Massachusetts State Board shortly after graduation. She is Class One Certified in Cosmetology and completed a 1,000-hour program at the Fall River Beauty Academy, where she earned a 4.0 GPA, in 1984. Heidi was a Member of the National Cosmetology Association from 2001 till 2006. She has been a Member of the Advisory Committee for Cosmetology at BMC Durfee High School since September 2000.

Her career in the beauty and education industries spans nearly three decades, and Heidi Gubala has not shown signs of slowing down. At BMC Durfee High School, she has been employed since September 2009 as a Vocational Unisex Hairstyling Teacher. Before that, she was an Instructor and Admissions and Performance Reviewer at the Rob Roy Beauty Academy from August 2007 until August 2009. Prior to her employment at the beauty academy, Ms. Gubala served as a Substitute Vocational Teacher in Cosmetology at BMC Durfee High School from September 1999 to September 2009.

She also worked as a Cosmetologist at a Salon in Taunton, MA from September 2003 to March 2009. Heidi Gubala was a Lead Teacher for Beauty Beginnings during the BMC Durfee High School Summer Program that ran from June 2001 until August 2001. From June 1992 till January 1997, Ms. Gubala worked at Fantastic Sam’s/ Boston Hair Company as a Cosmetologist. She was also a Cosmetology Instructor at the Taunton Beauty Academy from November 1989 to November 1991, and Manager at Fantastic Sam’s in Brockton, MA from October 1986 till October 1989.
